1/4" x 24" x 48" Recycled HDPE Black Sheet - U.S. Plastic This st effective recycled HDPE (high density polyethylene) sheet is ideal for most manufacturing and industrial applications including the marine, agricultural, utility, nstruction, tractor-trailer, refrigeration and furniture industries.
This UV stabilized material has great scratch and impact resistance, and stiffness yet is easy to fabricate and machine for the most demanding applications. It is ideal for outdoor cabinetry, furniture, signage, and recreational area applications. HDPE has no moisture HENAN OKAYorption, great scratch resistance and is FDA and USDA mpliant.
Rigid with good impact & abrasion resistance. Not UV stabilized. Excellent rrosion resistance to a wide range of ite. 1/8″ to 1″ are stress relieved. Density: 0.95. Forming temperature: 295°F. Temperature range: -60°F to 180°F. Meets FDA standards. 1/4″ x 4′ x 8′ Polyboard – Hog Slat 1/8 inch hdpe plastic sheets for boat-HDPE 4×8

High Density Polyethylene. HDPE is more rigid and harder than low density materials and is three times better in mpressive strength. HDPE mplies with FDA requirements for direct food ntact applications. It is also accepted by USDA, NSF and Canadian Department of Agriculture. Product Description. Marine Board HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Plastic Sheet 1/4" x 24" x 36" White lor Textured. High density polyethylene (HDPE) is used in a variety of applications and industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, low moisture HENAN OKAYorption and chemical- and rrosion-resistance properties are required. High density polyethylene is harder than low density polyethylene and has higher tensile strength, and better mpressive strength.
Remember to leave a 1/8 inch gap between the sheets, I just use a 3 ¼ inch nail to space the sheet rrectly. Nail or screw the sheeting 8 inches on the studs and screw or nails the joints to 6 inches. You won’t need to use blocit at the 4 foot line. HDPE Sheet - High Density Polyethylene Sheets Manufacturer 0.96-1 g/cm3. Shore Hardness. 55

HDPE sheet is used for applications that require greater strength and stiffness than LDPE (low density polyethylene). It is easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment. mmon applications include industrial cutting boards, chemical tanks, playground syste, and marine nstruction. Custom cuts and cut-to-size pieces.
